This brief came from an engineering company situated between Bristol and Swindon. I was given an exciting tour of their workshop and saw their machines in action. I even held a mysterious titanium widget that they said would end up being a component of a device that would be blasted into space!

Despite the impressive technology and heavy machinery, Armadillo came across as a professional but very personable bunch of people. I produced a logo that appeared to be made of titanium machined into the shape of a lowercase 'a'. I felt lowercase better reflected the company, both rounded and informal, and juxtaposed interestingly with the sharp and precise metal forms.

I also designed a typeface for the company to make their print and digital material more exciting and to show what they produce through how they communicate.
