This project was initiated when Bath Spa University was approached by the Black Swan Gallery in Frome and was asked to contribute fifteen designs from as many students into a fundraising exhibition celebrating the gallery's twenty-fifth year anniversary. The designs had to be based on the theme '25' and had to be produced by either a silkscreen or letterpress process.

My design was picked to be shown in the exhibition. The large figure in the centre is an incompletely revolved hexagon shape. A completely revolved hexagon would represent a century. The 90 degree segment removed represents the twenty-five years since Black Swan Gallery started. The remaining shape is the seventy-five years remaining before the gallery's one hundred year anniversary. The text below shows the amount of seconds in twenty-five years, as well as a short caption, which provides a cryptic explanation of the figure's association with the theme of the exhibition.

This project was featured on frome.tv and you can see my poster (albeit out of focus) at 00:28.

The text below the figure reads:

'7.89 * 10e8'

'Figure above is a two-dimentional reproduction of a vitual three-dimentional representation of a fourth-dimentional duration.
Specifically, one century with a twenty-five year period removed.
7.89*10e8 is the total sum of seconds in a twenty-five year period in standard form.'
